Due to the venue rules, the event is 19+. Folks are welcome to bring food into the venue. Drinks (alcohol-based and non-alcohol) will be available for purchase at FirkinStein. Come out for a fun evening to meet others working on climate change solutions. No registration required for the Sustainable Social.
There are no steps to enter the venue. There is a wheelchair accessible gender-neutral washroom. There are also gendered washrooms on site.
South Shore Sustainability Summit
Saturday, September 23rd from 9:30 am to 4:00 p.m.
NSCC Lunenburg Campus, 75 High St, Bridgewater
The South Shore Sustainability Summit will bring together local decision-makers, community organizations, and the public to discuss how our communities can better respond collaboratively to the climate emergency and its impacts in our area.
This is a free and public event co-hosted by the Town of Mahone Bay, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, and the Town of Bridgewater in partnership with AIM Network. All in the Region and neighbouring areas are welcome.
The program is subject to change. In addition to the sessions listed above, there will be break-out discussions, exhibitors, and opportunities to connect throughout the day.
We will only contact you with information about the event and your email address will not be shared with anyone. You do not have to register to attend, but lunch will be served based on registered attendees.
